The story of Crosscurrent Fellowship is a simple story of transformed lives, each linked to God’s greater story, found in His Word, the Holy Bible. It is a story that is transformative, transcendent, yet earthy and relevant. A story that continues to be told with you and with this very unique Fellowship. We believe YOU will feel welcomed here! Check out our “come as you are” atmosphere in Manoa, Oahu. You will sense a down-to-earth style of gathering which includes open-mic sharing/prayer request and a coffee-break. On the last Sunday of each month we observe the Lord’s Supper with a Potluck celebration to follow. We also provide weekly classes for teenagers and children on Sundays. Meet Pastor Rodney Wong
Lead Pastor Rodney Wong sensed God's call back in High School where he began his faith journey in Christ. He and his wife are passionate about the gospel and assisting those in need and have been blessed with three children Elijah, Josiah, and Mikayla. Rodney's personal interests involve football and theological discussions. He has earned an MA in Religion, M.Div., and Th.M. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and International Graduate School of Theology. He is an instructor with the bible Institute of Hawaii as an Adjunct Faculty and Faculty Administrator. Pastor Rodney was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the City and County of Honolulu for his ongoing work in prison ministries at the O'ahu Community Correctional Center. He enjoys "hanging-out" with the youth following worship service each Sunday and volunteers his time with Young Life ministries.
